Compare water heater brands on five things, not the logo: UAE certification on the label, how the tank is protected from corrosion, the length of the tank warranty, how easily parts are available in Dubai, and whether the size and shape fit your space. Brands such as Ariston, Atlantic and Bradford White differ most on tank warranty and price.
What should I compare between water heater brands?
Five things matter more than the brand name:
- Certification: check the label for UAE certification marks. Trakhees-regulated areas require ESMA and Dubai Central Laboratory certified heaters.
- Tank protection: the inner lining and the anode rod decide how long the tank resists corrosion
- Tank warranty: longer warranties on the tank itself signal confidence in the lining
- Parts in Dubai: thermostats, elements and valves should be easy to get locally
- Fit: vertical or horizontal, the dimensions, and the weight when full
Are premium brands worth it?
Premium heaters usually cost more because of better tank linings, longer tank warranties or better insulation. They make most sense where a leak would cause expensive damage, such as above a false ceiling, or where you plan to stay for years. For a short tenancy, a certified standard heater with an annual service is often the better value.

Can Urban Chill install any brand?
Yes. Our fixed supply-and-install prices are for standard heaters (from AED 699 for 50 litres). Premium brands are quoted per model. If you buy your own heater, installation is AED 299 + VAT.

Does the brand change the installation price?
Not for a like-for-like position. Labour is the same. The difference is the price of the heater itself.
Should I buy a heater online and have it installed?
You can. Check it is certified for the UAE, the right size and the right shape for the space before ordering, and keep the receipt for the manufacturer's warranty.
